Soft Shadows

Now our site is celebrating the use of soft shadows!  It's difficult to show the actual shadows here in this blog entry, as that would induce trying to show something black upon a background that also is black...

But, there's a screenshot above, and they're in use above as of now, as the blurred-edge shadows of the layers for each of the tabbed links ("About," "Movies," etc.).

Love those PNGs!!  Farrrr better transparency than GIFs!

This really has nothing to do [yet] with Thomas Productions, but Obama's speech last night was simply brilliant.  Hope you got to view it.  In fact, view it again!

Thirteen

Suddenly, it hit me: I should start keeping track of how many movies from Thomas Productions are being uploaded for viewing on YouTube!  Out of our 40something total, we now have reached teenage status with Rage Against the Scenes (2004).

One of our biggest projects ever is coming to YouTube next: Three Shorts: Commentary on Society (2003).  Stay tuned!

New Design!

Wow, this new design for production pics is quite an improvement, I must say.  Though it's only partly completed, the Production Photos for The Nightmare (2007), which were recently posted at GPicturama, are now also displayed directly at the movie's website!

It's a newer design, complete with scrolling thumbnails and full size capabilities.  Descriptions, too.  Check it out!

Arrival In Twos

Yup, that's right, you read that right: now two more of our films are now viewable on YouTube, and they're rather recent ones!  Both Scenes from "Being John Malkovich" (2006) and Man Facing Nervous Breakdowns (2007) have now been posted.

...Malkovich was spiffied up a bit; thanks to some new visual effects, a boom mic pole that tried its hardest to make more cameos than it was allowed to is now kept out for good.

We're a tad behind on embedding...  Gettin' to that next.

400 Views

Awesome!  Part 1 of The Dog of Pompeii has received 400 views as of today on YouTube!  Of all Thomas Productions videos posted there so far, that one has thus far received the highest quantity.

Production Nightmare!

Actually, the production of The Nightmare was anything but, because it was excellent!  Now, finally, the production photos from that are on our site, at GPicturama!

Soon, they will be viewable through an embedding directly on the movie's page!  Until then, they're all still online at the same ol' site.  Will keep ya updated on that.

New Viewership

This past weekend, for the first time since the film was produced over a year ago, the main star of The Nightmare (Shanez Gountanis, pictured below) finally got to see the film!

Adults 'R' Us

MmmK, so Abrupt has been uploaded to YouTube.  Though it's one of the shortest projects from Thomas Productions, it's also the most adult-related; it's basically our first 'R' picture, so to speak.
