In a time of large urbanization and industrialization, smaller family-run businesses like Gizdich Ranch in Watsonville, CA, are much rarer. Despite the obscurity of this nostalgic location, it continues to thrive through the sale of its award-winning apple juice and such events as its annual apple butter festival.
